Information Security Incident Response Management

Its important to implement and manage an incident response system in today’s enterprise in order to comply with legal regulations and compliant issues while providing protection of information assets.  Microtec develops and manages our client’s capability to respond and recover from disruptive and destructive information security and information systems incidents. We accomplish this by developing and implementing processes for detecting, identifying and analyzing information security-related events and then develop the response and recovery plans, including organizing, training and equipping the response teams.  We ensure periodic testing of information systems response and recovery plans where appropriate and will also help ensure the execution of information systems response and recovery plans as required.  Microtec also establishes procedures for documenting an event as a basis for subsequent action, including forensics when necessary.  We manage post-event reviews to identify causes and corrective actions.
